Well, 2 actually, 2 glorious day’s at Ascot.(complete with hat).It was a  fabulous event and I could give vent to my passions, dressing -up and having fun. My first stop was to the boutique ‘Isabelle’ where i chose a staggering outfit - done in 10 minutes, record time for me .

The elegance and ambience of the event was wonderful  and i felt totally at ease sipping champaagne with my date whilst we mingled with the beautifull people at Ascot.

My hat was a creation of magnnificence and i felt wonderful.

Of course ,  staying at the Pennyhill Park Hotel and pampering myself with all the Spa  Treatments helped.(After all, a girl always needs pampering). Sheeer indulgence, great surroundings, great food and great company.-All boxes ticked.!!! Unfortunately, I did have a  little flutter but did not win a bean - must be lucky in lurrv?

Back to the hotel to relax and to prepare for another day of champagne, fun and gourmet food - de- tox planned. Although sipping vintage pink  champagne was lovely, I was taking care to pace myself and stay standing, - not easy in 5″heels, even though the shoes were to die for, still no win on the horses for me, but another fun-filled day and i even joined in the sing-along at the end.The atmosphere was incredible and although I may never win the X -Factor, I joined in with everyone else, reminiscent of the Last Night At The Proms.

Being a Manchester girl at heart, it was a real treat to go to the Oasis Concert in Heaton Park.

It was an open-air event which allowed me the opportunity to dress outrageously and still feel amazing!                                                                                   

The atmosphere was electric, that’s the thing about concerts, everyone  is so upbeat,  that it feels as though you have just acquired thousands of new best friends!   I did have the opportunity  to go backstage and meet the guys but time constraints did not allow for  that, I did however, finish off the night with a traditional Manchester curry, well, when in Manchester you do what Mancunians do?                                                                                                                             

The music was terrific and the band just got better and better . Luckily the weather was ok and I could indulge my Rock Chick personna and glam it up big-time. That was really good fun, and not just for my own pleasure,  hopefully my date enjoyed it too . A  thoroughly enjoyable evening was had by all! Anna xxx

Now that it’s officially summer, it’s time to relax, take some time out, get in the garden and enjoy the warm sun?                                                     

  Summer days are long, warm and light..the evenings are hot and balmy..

Anna Aroma loves Glamour!

Glamour requires vision. That’s why extremes are often glamorous: the blondest hair , huge sunglasses, insanely high heels.You can’t be very young and be glamorous..(in fact, age is a plus), because glamour is tied up with knowledge.It implies a  good dose of “been there” and “done that”. It oozes sex, and relies on worldliness, but that doesn’t mean you have to have travelled the world to be glamorous.

What it does mean, is that in some  way -by hook or by crook-you’ve seen or done or read enough to have a certain expansiveness of mind  and attitude..In fact, glamour is a kind of invitation to others-it’s something that has to be shared,witnessed and enjoyed.           

That’s what is so wonderful about glamour! Why it’s irrestible and seductive!  It doesn’t exist in a vacuum, but is about discovering and sharing a certain joy in the luxury of things. Glamour is intrinsically linked to pleasure. It is about pleasing the senses, but not necessarily one’s own, and it certainly isn’t about drowning them. (that’s hedonism).

That may help one live a glamorous lifestyle, but it can’t make one glamorous. Ostentation is a very different beast from glamour.You can’t buy glamour, and you can’t fake it. But unlike beauty, it’s not something you are born with, though it comes more naturally to some than others. Best of all, you don’t have to be glamorous to partake of it. The light glamour casts,  shines brightly.. and all you have to do is revel with me,  Anna Aroma, your Manchester Glamour Puss! x Anna

Someone said “I’m not a gardener type, I don’t like like dirt under my fingernails. I don’t like being cold and wet,or being outside all the time. I murder plants on a weekly basis because I’m lazy or I forget. ”

Gardening  isn’t fusty-it’s very, very sexy.   Gardening should be simple, sexy and exciting!  There’s something magical about making things grow!  Anna Aroma says “It’s very simple and easy. It’s about having a go.”     It’s difficult to argue with a woman who does her potting in a vintage sexy dress and very high heels. Sunflowers, Sweet Pea, Morning Glory  and Heavenly Blue  are this week’s project . Hat ready,  hope the sunshine lasts for my garden fun!

Think about the last great sex session you had..When you think how sexy your body is, when it releases its ‘feel sexy’ chemicals, the brain doesn’t know the difference between memory and reality.
