Hello everone, just thought I would share a little handy tip with you. Have you ever received some unwelcome news via the post on a Saturday. Could be anything that you do not particularly want to hear, especially if it has arrived in one of those dreaded little brown envelopes. Well, my tip to -you is leave it – at least until Monday morning. In my experience, I have found that when opened, If I really need to speak to someone in order to sort it out and no-one is there until after the weekend. That just totally ruins your weekend and you end up feeling as though you are spitting feathers. Life will go on whether it is dealt with or not, so do not stress and leave those little devils on the kitchen table until someone is there to communicate with you and deal with the matter. Works for me !!!!!!
I am being whisked off to an exotic location with one of my lovely dates shortly, so will be away for a couple of weeks. I will, however, let you know all about the trip on my return. Hope you are all well, and will be in touch very soon. Luv Annaxx

Hello everyone,
Had the most amazing weekend recently, I was invited by my date to Sir Elton John’s performance at the Royal Opera House, and what a spectacular event it was. This was a benefit occasion on behalf of The ROYAL ACADEMY OF MUSIC and Sir Elton John was appearing with Ray Cooper. The whole evening was just fantastic. As most people know, Sir Elton John is well-known for his charity work, especially his connection with The Royal Academy Of Music, and he is well-established within that particular field by his very own Elton John Scholarship Fund. This was an occasion for me to don my ‘posh-frock’ and get out the bling. Just love dressing-up to this very high standad as befits the Royal Opera House, and my date for the weekend was equally charming.
We stayed in London at a convenient venue and dined at the Cafe ‘ Boheme in Soho. This is an enchanting Parisian bistro, and as one would expect, the food was first-class, My date kept me well refreshed with lots of very good ‘Vino’ and the company and chat just flowed. My date was a most generous host and the weekend went by all too quickly.
We even managed to lunch out at a very quaint English Pub, a stark contrast to the Cafe’ Boheme, but nevertheless, still had its own unique appeal. Most enjoyable.
Although Manchester has its own magical nightlife and culture, London, as one of the worlds’ most vibrant cities, I believe, stands out alone as one of the most exciting places to visit, and I consider myself fortunate enough to have been invited to such a magnificent concert in one of the worlds most cultural venues.
The whole evening was very emotional, and when Sir Elton John ended the evening with his rendition of ‘Candle In The Wind’. the atmosphere was truly heartfelt. An amazing experience. I am now back home in Manchester , posh-frock and all, and would love to hear from you. Luv Annaxxxxx
