Do hope that you are all well and looking forward to hearing from you soon for a lovely escort dinner date Annaxxxx

Hello everyone, back from South Africa and still reeling from such an amazing journey. My wonderful date whisked me off to far-away places, places that leave one breathless with their beauty.

We were booked on a luxury cruise-liner that was  just sheer indulgence, and oh how wonderful it was to be pampered!!! This particular ship is one of the smaller vessels, so much more personal and intimate- very romantic.

We had a gorgeous butler and Verander Suite, so many an evening was spent with us sitting  on the Veranda, glass of champagne in hand, watching the sun setting over the stunning vista.

Dining on board is an experience all of its own, candlelight, sparkling crystal, amazing ocean views, whilst enjoying the very best in Haute Cuisine, and so much variety. It took all my time to be careful  and watch the calories-a major feat in itself. Still I was a good girl and   tried very hard not to over-indulge.

This cruise took us way down the coast of South Africa, as far down as Mozambique, and we had some fantastic excursions along the way.Our first nigt was spent at the spectacular ‘Taj Hotel’ Cape Town, famous for its Indian Brasserie, hhmmmm-hot and spicey. Loving this type of food meant that this was a very special treat for me.

Absolutely gorgeous. Also a visit to The Waterfront   Cape Town    and the setting again was magnificent, with its huge big-wheel and vibrant waterfront. Stunning!!Annother special treat was visiting one of the oldest safaris’ The Umhlathuze Game Reserve located in Richards Bay To see the animals in their natural habitat was another wonderful experience- many more photo opportunities, not to be missed. The service on board was first-class and the entertainment very cultural and refined. It was delightful to discover that we had some ‘Home-Grown’ talent on board, none other than Tenor Vocalsist Victor Micheal, a Mancunian opera singer with immense talent. I do believe that culture does indeed feed the soul, and this trip certainly enhanced that well-being factor.

This was truly a trip of a lifetime, but although South Africa is amazing with all it has to offer, it still has a great divide between its people, and it is hard not to appreciate the diversity amongst its own culture. Many of the Townships are still struggling with many of the issues well-documented over the centuries, and it is difficult not to be moved by their struggles.

One funny incident occurred on board when I was mistaken for someone-else ——an Aristocratic Lady no less. Please, no need to curtsey. Joking apart, my wonderful date was a perfect gentleman and did indeed treat me like a Lady. We now have this wonderful shared experience to give us many fond memories to look back on.

All too   quickly our last night arrived and we spent that last evening at the ‘Mount Nelson Hotel ‘. This hotel overlooks Table Mountain and the surroundings again were spectacular. A beautiful  way to end this amazing journey.
