Hello Everyone,
Hope you are all enjoying this lovely bit of spring weather, well for as long as it lasts.
As it has been such a glorious week, I decided to do a little bit of relaxing in the garden, donned my skimpy little shorts, shades on, a good book, and caught some rays.
Heaven. I normally write such things when I am on my travels abroad, but hey, Manchester was good this week, only thing lacking was the beach, but you can’t have everything ….However, I am not at all selfish, and if anyone requires a little pampering themselves, then just call me. That feel-good factor is guaranteed. Bye for now

Bonnie Scotland….
Hi Everyone,
had a flying visit to that beautiful city of Edinburgh. I just adore Scotland as it really is a treasure, and I have so many happy memories of my younger days being spent there.
I have travelled extensively in Scotland, going so far north as The Shetland and Orkney Islands. Now they are stunning, and it is easy to see why people just love those islands.
Not the most easiest of places to get to, but certainly worth the journey, I can still remember the ferry trip, that took about 16hours, thankfully no sea-sickness as a great sailor. However I do recall having a good old boogie on the ship, even though the entertainment was a little like Eurovision Song Contest, but hey ho, still very good fun. Fond memories. Had a marvellous time in Edinburgh, another vibrant city. It was exceptionally busy as there was an important Rugby match on and the atmosphere was electric.
So many places to visit, you just cannot get to see eveything in such a short time but luckily for me,it was not my first visit, and I am now quite familiar with this gorgeous city.
Just love the art galleries and so many exciting bars and restaurants. I must truly be a city girl at heart, but that does not stop me appreciating the amazing countryside that Scotland is so famous for. The train journey back to Manchester was a delight. I just sat back and relaxed whilst taking in some of the most spectacular views.
As you travel further north, as I did many years ago, the scenery just gets more breathtaking. I can remember travelling through Aberdeen and Inverness and having a fantastic meal in Dundee, whereby I had a toffee apples as a desert in a Chinese restaurant. Strange what stays with you as a memory, but I have to say, Scotland just gets better and better.
Back to my home town of Manchester again, another great city, and one which I am very proud of, always nice to visit other cities and make memories for the future, but it is also nice to be home again.
If anyone is looking for a weekend break, I am able to travel anywhere with short notice, so give me a call,in the meantime take care,
