Has’nt this Manchester sunshine been lovely? Feeling as though spring is in the air, that always lightens the mood,—and my wardrobe.
Looking forward to getting without the heavy winter clothing, hopefully, although I can say that my bedroom attire remains pretty much the same.

We still have our own magic in the UK.Still on a high from the Olympics, what a feel-good factor that was, and did’nt we do well!!!
It feels great to have something to be proud of for a change, we normally get such bad press. Even people I know
who are’nt really into sports that much could not but help to get caught up in the enthusiam. I’m not a big sports fan myself, I indulge in more gently sports so to speak , but I was in London during the Olympics and it was just marvellous.

Hello Everyone,
I have had quite a few trips to London just recently and my oh my, the place is buzzing with London Olympic Fever. They have some amazing venues lined up for all the events, Earls Court for the Triathalon and many, more supurb venues.
For anyone who is into their sports, then London is the place to be over the next 6 weeks or so.
Now I know that many people think that London won’t be as good as the other major cities that hosted the Games, but they said that about Manchester when we had the Commonwealth Games, and even though I may be slightly biased, Manchester certainly did us proud. We put on a fabulous display and the Games were a huge success.
However, as is customary in Manchester, the only thing to mar the event was the torrential rain, lets hope that the rainy season ends soon and we finally get the summer we desrve -hot-hot-hot.
Speaking of hot, I have been entertained (and entertaining) with some really lovely and interesting people just lately.
Having a fabulous time, both in London and closer to home.
Spent a good few hours browsing through Covent Garden, just love the place, all those interesting shops selling very unusual stuff. Purchased a few goodies which I hope to share with you.
Really enjoyed my trips to London, as always, there seems to be something new happening every time you visit and this year is going to be special for the Olympic Games.

Christmas is coming,excuse the pun, and I am gearing up for Christmas. I have my little santa outfit at the ready and looking forward to the festive season. Apart from the cold, its a lovely time of year and the party mood kicks in for most people, so its an exciting time all round. Love to browse around the Christmas markets, mulled wine and plenty of cheer. Manchester has a fabulous continental market and the atmosphere is just great.
