LONDON FIRST CLASS MICE!!!
I was returning from London via Euston Station travelling to Manchester recently and had just settled down to wait for my train. I had eaten my Nando’s on the station and then made my way to the first-class lounge. Luckily, being the slim busty blonde that I am, help was to hand as I was struggling with my luggage in my usual ridiculously high heels – I was truly a damsel slightly distressed. I had my newspaper and glass of red wine to hand when to my amazement – SHOCK HORROR, I spotted a mouse under the T.V. screen. Now I know that we can all encounter dubious travelling companions but even so, that takes the biscuit (pardon the pun) I don’t think I shrieked, but I was feeling very uncomfortable when Lo and Behold, out came a family of mice. Now, I’m not normally one for such dramatics, but at this stage I really felt I ought to bring this to the attention of a member of staff. I was told that “Yes, they are aware of the problem and traps have been laid and the usual pesticides are in place”. Well, all I can say is that our vermin friends have outwitted everyone and even the mice travel first-class in London.
